This region, with its coastal climate and geological conditions, allows local farmers to produce the highest quality pepper in the world. Kampot pepper is divided into three primary colors, differentiated by the processing of the fruit of the pepper vine. Red pepper is obtained from the harvest of fully ripe pepper berries. They mature into a deep red color and are full of fructose, which gives this type of pepper its unique taste. Thanks to a careful selection that meets the strict quality requirements for pepper exported from Kampot, as set by the Kampot Pepper Association, only the finest grains are always handpicked. These are then vacuum sealed to maintain quality and freshness during the journey to Europe, where they are further selected, packaged, and delivered right to your table.

Each type of Kampot pepper distinguishes itself with its unique flavor and aroma, qualities that are rarely found in pepper bought at ordinary supermarkets. The rare red pepper is an explosion of fruity notes with a milder spiciness. Initially, you'll notice hints of rose and rosehip, which then transition into dried cherries. After two to three minutes, more characteristic scents for Kampot pepper begin to develop, such as citrus fruits, dried mandarins, and earthy hints of sourdough bread crust.

Different types of pepper are suitable for various purposes due to their distinct flavors, aromas, and spiciness levels. Red pepper, with its fruity character, reigns supreme in cold cuisine.
